AMI has prepared an assessment of the U.S. Navy’s maritime strategy, A Cooperative Strategy for 21^st Century Sea Power, which points out several key issues the sea services will have to resolve to assure their qualitative and technological advantages for the 21^st century.  One particular challenge the sea services will face is creating and maintaining a seamless and fully integrated maritime force with the appropriate force structure to respond to a broad range of maritime challenges.  We hope this article serves to stimulate thinking and discussion.
