Angola – Naval Aviation Assets/Programs New Report – January 2007 The Angolan Navy (AN) air arm currently has a force of one Fokker F-27-200 Maritime and two EMB-111 Bandeirante maritime patrol aircraft (MPA). The aircraft are utilized for long-range surveillance missions. Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) 1. Boeing 707 MPA: AMI has received information that the AN ordered a Boeing 707 from Israel in 2005. The aircraft is currently being modified for surveillance missions and is scheduled to arrive in Angola by 2007. Helicopters AMI is not aware of any acquisitions of maritime helicopters for the AN. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) AMI is not aware of any acquisitions of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the AN.
