Receipts

1. Ex-US Navy Anchorage Class Landing Ship, Dock (LSD): On 01 October 1999, the USS Pensacola (LSD-38) was transferred to the ROCN as the Hsuh Hai (LSD-139). Decommissioned from US Navy service on 22 September 1999 after nearly 29 years of active service, the LSD was turned over as a hot transfer to the ROCN to become part of its rapid reaction forces. Additionally, the ROCN requested and received US approval to transfer another ship of the Anchorage class when it becomes available. The ex-Fort Fisher (LSD-40) was decommissioned in 1998 and stricken from the naval registry. It will probably be transferred to the ROCN in 2002

2. Ex-US Navy Kidd Class Destroyer: See Future Destroyer project report.
